Our log home was built in 2001. It was originally finished with an oil base stain. The last time it was stained in 2007, something happened. The stain started to peel and split apart, causing the raw wood to be exposed to the elements of mother nature. At the Home Show in Salem, Va., last spring (2012), we met Mr. Turpin. After talking with him for just a few minutes, I felt this was the person that could help solve the problems on our house. He was very polite and knowledgeable of his products.

In a few weeks, Mr. Turpin came by and made some suggestions, but to make sure we were going in the right direction, he called the area rep for Perma-Chink. We all met again later, and agreed on the best method to restore our log home back to its original beauty. We were very impressed! We were in the process of enclosing our back porch, so we waited until Nov. to start. After hand sanding and two coats of Lifeline Ultra-2 (Bronze) you can see the results. We also accented our windows in green to match our roof and guttering. Thank you TPC Restoration, and Crew.
