Our log cabin is two years old. It had the initial treatment of stain and additives to protect the logs and the color of the stain. However, the stain protection did not last and the stain could literally be wiped off with your hand. We were fortunate to meet Dennis of TPC Restoration at a log home show. We listened to his presentation and were impressed with his knowledge and experience staining log cabins. Dennis visited our cabin and provided us with a thorough evaluation of what needed to be done to repair, stain and protect our cabin. We had numerous checks in our logs and wooden posts and balusters for our front porch and rear deck. After contacting Dennis’ references, we signed a contract for him to remove the old stain, fill in the checks, and then to stain and apply a topcoat to our cabin.
During the staining process, Dennis kept us up to date on the status of the project by sending us pictures of the cabin while it was being stained. The pictures were amazing! Dennis completed the work on time with fantastic results. When we returned to our cabin after the staining was completed, we could not believe the quality of the work. We saw how meticulous his crew was in protecting our plants when they were removing the old stain, filling in the checks, and then staining every square inch of our cabin. Dennis even stained and applied a topcoat to wood surfaces that were not included in our contract, such as the posts that supported our deck! TPC Restoration did a fantastic job on our cabin!
They did not damage our existing plants, leave stain residue on our deck planks or concrete patio. We feel like we have a new cabin that looks even better than when we first bought it! We would strongly encourage you to talk to Dennis of TPC Restoration about protecting your most valuable possession . . . your home . . . for years to come. Dennis uses top of the line products and an experienced and caring crew to give you results that will exceed your expectations. TPC Restoration certainly impressed us!!
